Be Contract Savvy Part 1 - Key Elements of Service Contracts 

This is a workshop designed to empower small business owners with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage service contracts. It focuses on the key elements of service contracts, highlighting essential clauses and common pitfalls to avoid, ensuring your contracts are both protective and beneficial for your business.


For many business owners, the service contract is the single most important contract they will have. As such, content is specifically tailored to the legal framework and business practices of British Columbia. This ensures that the information is not only interesting but also highly relevant and applicable for BC-based business owners.

Bio: Brent Parker is a lawyer who practices business, health, and privacy law through Stream Law Group. His expertise is further enriched by a project and risk management background, a Master's in Public Health, and advanced data analytics and privacy training. He teaches health law at the University of British Columbia and enjoys outdoor activities with his family when not in the office.
